Overview

This article addresses common login error scenarios that end users may encounter when trying to log in SimpleMDG. By following these instructions, the user will be able to identify the causes and find the necessary solutions to resolve the issues. 



Note: If you want to log in with multiple accounts that have different roles, please use a different browser for each account or in private mode.


Wrong Username/ Password Input

  • Cause: When logging in to SimpleMDG, user must validate their accounts. If you input the wrong Username/Email/Password, you will not be able to access the system.
  • Solution: Ensure you enter the correct credentials for a successful login.




"Where-to" Error

  • Cause: This issue occurs when the session in SimpleMDG has expired while you are logged in.
  • Solution: You have to access the URL SimpleMDG again or reload the Page. If the issue persists, please clear your cache and cookies, then reload the page.


 


"Forbidden" Error

  • Cause: If you successfully log in to SimpleMDG but receive a "Forbidden" message when trying to switch to the Application/Admin side or try to access other SimpleMDG environment.
  • Solution: Please check with your Admin regarding your permissions and request the correct scope to be reassigned. Additionally, make sure to log out and log back in. If the issue persists, please clear your cache and cookies, then reload the page.



"User-Lock" Error

  • Cause: When a new user creates an account, they must activate it through an email confirmation. If the user forgets this activation step and attempts to log into SimpleMDG, the system will lock them out.
  • Solution: Ensure you activate your account by checking your email for the activation message. Once you have successfully activated your account, reload the page and log in as usual. If you don’t receive the email confirmation, please check your spam folder to see if it was categorized there.
